To participate as a cook at a Real Men Cook Event the following things are required:
• Attend a 3 hour - Safe Food Handling Certification Class and get a food handlers card
• Pay $50 Registration Fee and complete a registration form
• Bring prepared food for 200-300 "sample size" servings
• Bring bleach or appropriate green product to mix with water to maintain sanitary work/serve station.
Registration can be completed below online or in person at a local Real Men Cook Registration Event. Available Safe Food Handling Class information will be provided after completing registration.
Real Men Cook® Father's Day events were created by and are owned by Resource Associates International, Ltd.. The Father's Day tradition of men cooking for a cause was started by co-founders, Karega Kofi Moyo and Yvette Moyo-Gillard.
Cook recruitment fees help to generate funds to pay general event expenses and to cover the cost of healthy cooking and food safety classed required by that city. The Real Men Cook presenting non-profit is Real Men Charities, Inc. and both Real Men Cook and Real Men Charities, Inc. efforts are supported by the White House as leaders in the fatherhood movement and in responsible male initiatives.
